Scott Broomhall – Chief of Waxing

Scott Broomhall, a native of Rumford, Maine grew up as a member of one of nordic skiing’s founding families in the United States. Son of the legendary former Olympian and Hall of Famer, Chummy Broomhall, Coach Broomhall grew up on skis. He was a many-times Eastern champion and was one of the top junior skiers in the nation in the 1970s.
Broomhall skied with former Harvard coach Peter Graves at Fort Lewis College in Colorado before transferring to New England College. He has devoted much of his life to skiing as a coach and race official. Coach Broomhall has uncommon expertise in ski waxing and is a huge help to the Harvard squad in the selection and application of waxes critical to skiing success.
