Sara Cushman – Assistant Nordic Coach

A 1997 Harvard graduate with a concentration in anthropology, Cushman was a four-year varsity skier for the Crimson and a former captain of the nordic team. She served as the head coach from 1998 to 2002 before taking some time away from the sport to attend law school at Boston College. As coach of the Crimson team, Cushman twice took skiers to the NCAA National Championships, those trips coming in 2000 and 2001.

While at Harvard, Cushman also played softball and earned All-Ivy League status in 1994. These days, Cushman competes in cyclocross races and enjoys long-distance bike touring.
