Skiing Highlights: 3rd in 15k classic at 2011 Junior Nationals in Minneapolis and six-time all-American since 2008. Men’s Eastern High School Champion in 2008 and 2009. Two NENSA Eastern Cup podiums. Co-captain of 2010 Massachusetts State Champion team.

From age 18 months onward, I spent most of my childhood time on skis overheating in thick snowsuits. This meant that all I really did was roll around in the snow trying to cool off instead of actually skiing. It was only much later, having survived an unfortunate brush with team sports, that I realized that switching to lycra suits would solve the problem… so I became a ski racer.
