I grew up on a farm in Northern Minnesota. I have been cross country skiing my entire life; it’s kind of a necessary skill where I am from. I trained and competed at biathlon for a while, but I now pursue exclusively nordic skiing. Skiing at Harvard was quite a change for me. I had never done things like urban rollerskiing before! I had a great time last year settling into the routines of a college ski team; I hope to improve upon that this year
