I suppose I went too many years of ski racing without major injuries, because I’ve really made up for it recently: a crash at Jiminy Peak last February has left me with a huge chunk of metal in one knee and a new ACL in the other (I like to think of them as an expansion pack).  I won’t be doing much skiing this year, but I’ll be making up for it by snowshoeing up to the finish, cheering wildly, bringing the team hot cocoa, and assuming other mom duties — they don’t call me Margamom for nothing.

After witnessing the Harvard Ski Team’s best year in history (get ready!) I’ll be graduating this spring, and while applying to medical school for entrance in 2012, I hope to work in Boston as a “community organizer” of sorts (thank goodness for Barack Obama who made community organizing into a glamorous, parentally acceptable occupation).  In my free time, I satisfy my addictions to Farmville and wedding planning.
