Alumni News and Notes – UVM Carnival Edition

The UVM carnival was combined with an Eastern Cup (Junior Nationals qualifying race) and a Supertour event, which made for a very deep and competitive field.  Included in that field were two alums: Rob Bradlee ’79 and Anna McLoon ’04.  Despite limited ski training this winter, Anna took 18^th in the 5km skate and an even more remarkable 11^th in the 10km classic race.  Rob placed second in his age group in the 10km Skate and would have scored points for the varsity team.  Wearing many hats, Rob also helped coach the junior skiers on his Boston-area club team to five age-group wins and several other podium places.  Maureen Devlin ’81 was at Trapp’s to tour on Saturday and stopped by the tent to say hello and cheer us on.
